Raining over night and cloudy most of the day until we started to approach Kununurra and clouds disappeared and the sun remained for the rest of the day. We have been having rain at nights and cloudy days lately, so it’s nice to see the sun again as you will see in the photos. The temperatures are getting hot as we go north, very hot and we have the air conditioning going most of the time. Now in hilly country going over rolling hills. Such a change from the long straight roads we have had for most of the trip especially in the Kimberleys. We are staying in Hidden Valley Caravan Park right next to the Miriam National Park. They even have their own entrance out the back to the National Park. So convenient as we can do our walking through the Park and not worry about leaving the van in a public carpark. We had to be in town here by 10.30am as we had a couple appointments in town, due to some problems with the oven top and the fridge. Can’t really believe it as they are pretty essential items. The fridge is a three way fridge which wasn’t changing to batteries, power or gas as required. They couldn’t fix the stove hobs as they didn’t have the parts but fridge seems to be OK at the moment 🤞. They will try and get parts deliver to the next town in NT but we have bookings here on the WA border for five nights, two here in Kununurra and three down at Lake Argyle. Having a bit of a break before we go and explore The Northern Territory. We have just relaxed for the rest of today, just going for a short walk to the entrance of the Mirima National Park as the sun was low in the afternoon which is a good time for photos to capture and highlight the colours in the sandstone cliffs. Hopefully it will be a good day tomorrow to spend some time walking through the Park.

Bungle Bungle Caravan Park -to - Kununurra - 265kms, 3rd June, 2022
A very cloudy day but these photos describe the changes in the landscapes we have travelled through today.
A lot of different colours.
Many different hills.
Have now gone up behind the camp to take these shots as the sun is lower and bringing out the colours in these sandstone rocks. I think this looks like a dogs head wearing a hat.
Some call this National Park the mini Bungle bungles as further in the park we might see these rocks shaped like the domes of the Bungles but in miniature size. Not like the ones we saw yesterday up to 300m high.
This could be a dogs head looking up with his nose in the air barking.
Now this one looks like a grumpy old man.
Just the side of a big rock.
Haven’t got a name for this one.
Not a lot to report today just playing around making up names for rocks.I must be relaxed. 😎

I can see a cats face in the light part of rock in the front of the photo you don't have a name for. Let's just call it cat face rock! Your fitness levels are amazing. Look forward to the abseiling photos. Must be nice to see a few green trees.
